Romney behind in the polls? Read this.

26 09 2012

What a great find on the Ace of Spades blog. A story of the Reagan/Carter election with media “predictions”, datelines that those media stories ran, and the final outcome of the election.

It goes to show you that even decades later – the media will try to make you believe the polls are in the Democrat’s favor.

The blog article is here.

The Most Sketchy Obama ad to date

26 09 2012

IF you are informed, then you know it: the latest Obama ad is the most sketchiest ad to date.

It shows the “secret” video someone took at a Romney fundraiser where he was talking ELECTION STRATEGY about how there is 47% of the population he can’t do anything about because they are going to vote for Obama no matter what. Our PRESIDENT actually is showing footage of that illegally taken video in an ad, that he approved, and then he shows the faces of firefighters, teachers, and normal people who fall in that 47%.  He has totally taken the video and Romney’s remarks out of context and made it seem worse than it ever was.

Then in the same ad, he says Romney paid a lower tax rate than most Americans. Oh my god! Romney pays a lower rate because he earns investment income! It is not payroll tax – which is a higher rate. It is LEGAL. Obama DOES IT TOO.

Obama is deliberately misleading Americans twice in one ad. I just simply cannot believe the President of the United States has stooped this low to mislead Americans just to save his own job.

Talk about the economy Obama. Talk about your failed foreign policy. Talk about your plan for Social Security? (crickets chirping) Talk about jobs. But NO, he does nothing like this, but instead runs misleading ads like this.

Never will I respect this horrible excuse for a leader.

Obama finally talks with – to – world leaders and boy he stunk it up

25 09 2012

The United Nations General Assembly is underway in New York City. Obama attended today and spoke TO the assembly. This is important because he finally made time in his schedule after doing such important things as appearing on The View yesterday while the world leaders were gathering. Remember too that Netanyahu had requested a meeting with Obama when he travelled to New York City for this meeting and the White House said Obama’s schedule was too busy.

So here is an excerpt of this loaded speech:

The future must not belong to those who target Coptic Christians in Egypt – it must be claimed by those in Tahrir Square who chanted “Muslims, Christians, we are one.” The future must not belong to those who bully women – it must be shaped by girls who go to school, and those who stand for a world where our daughters can live their dreams just like our sons. The future must not belong to those corrupt few who steal a country’s resources – it must be won by the students and entrepreneurs; workers and business owners who seek a broader prosperity for all people. Those are the men and women that America stands with; theirs is the vision we will support.

The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims. It is time to heed the words of Gandhi: “Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit.” Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them. That is what America embodies, and that is the vision we will support.

Ok – we have the President, who as a boy pushed a girl down on the playground to avoid being made fun of himself (as per his own book) now saying: The future must not belong to those who bully women

He leads with a statement of: The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. So now all of a sudden we are in charge of free speech unless that speech slanders the prophet of Islam.

And this from the candidate who has spent the majority of his campaign defining his and Romney’s differences by attacking and demonizing Romney says: Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them

It really is like he thinks no one is paying attention to this.

Liberals begged for it: Romney’s tax returns released

21 09 2012

And oh my they aren’t going to like what they see.

Romney is legal and fully paid AND very, very generous. He made over 13 million in investment income in 2011 and paid a tax rate of 14.4%. He gave over 4 million to charity, representing 30% of his income. AND he did not fully deduct what he could have for that charitable giving, thus raising his tax rate. In other words – he paid more in taxes than he legally was required to do.

Remember millionaire Obama gives only 7% to charity. And I think Biden gave like $500 bucks or something.

I had suspected all along that the returns would not show anything shocking. I love that he held on to them until the time and place of his choosing to release them. You can almost hear the collective gasp of nothingness in the liberal world that they have nothing – nothing – to nail him on here!

And to make matters worse for liberals – Romney is STILL not as rich as John Kerry.

100 days until Taxmageddon

21 09 2012

I’m going to guess most Obama supporters don’t even know this is coming, but I do. Been watching this for awhile.

An excellent walkthrough of what happens beginning January 1, 2013 when the Bush tax cuts expire.

Message for Obama

21 09 2012

A creative homeowner in Tampa today:

The $15 billion loss for the industry Obama “saved”

21 09 2012

Obama so saved the auto industry, he says, that at the DNC they mentioned it 150 times.

But, not so fast.

At General Motors, American taxpayers own 26.5% of the company. GM has asked the government to pleeeaaazzzeee sell those shares, thus freeing themselves from the restrictive rules placed on them from this “saving” arrangement.

Obama’s administration said no. Not until after the election.

You see GM shares are trading around $24 today, and they need to be at $53 a share just for US to break even. GM’s 52 week high is $27.68 a share.

If the government sold their shares, American taxpayers would lose $15 billion.

Obama does not want that to go down until after the election.

But for now, he wants you to think he “saved” the entire industry.
