Hurray to Texas, Florida and Virginia

13 07 2009

Did you know Texas, Florida and Virgina have told the Federal Government that they will not use taxpayer money to pay for the Federal Government’s official “Recovery” road signs? Bravo to them. ABC news reported that these signs are costing states millions, from $500 to $3,000 each in New Jersey, just to put by the road next to projects that are paid for with stimulus money. New York is spending $1 MILLION on signs alone.

REPEATABLE: If the economy is so bad, why not use that money to HELP people, not worry about promoting your political stimulus plan.
