The Republican Budget

3 04 2009

It will never pass in a Democrat controlled House and Senate, but the Republican’s proposed budget to counter Obama’s massing tax-raising crazy-spending budget is worth a look. The Republican budget keeps spending at 20% GDP and does not create new programs we have to go into debt to pay for. It removes all stimulus spending from 2010 and beyond, and adds no new taxes. It also addresses the anticipated shortfalls in Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid – Obama’s budget does not even address solutions to help these three programs.

REPEATABLE: Republicans are offering real solutions; Democrats offer spending sprees, higher taxes, and ignore important programs that will need serious reform (Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid)
