Happy 1,000 Days with no Federal Budget

Yesterday marked the 1,000th day that the Senate has not passed a full budget. Under Obama, no budget has been passed since April 2009. Since Republicans took control of the House in 2011, they passed a budget, but the Senate has to pass a full budget. Nice financial management by the Obama administration!

The “Jobs” Bill

3.5 years into his administration and Obama has introduced a jobs bill. Well, sort of.

He wanted to make people think he had jobs on his mind, so he asked for a joint session of Congress to present his plan. Only he requested a date that was also the GOP Presidential candidate debate – a debate that had been scheduled months in advance. The Speaker of the House said no can do, move your speech…which Obama did…and made his lame presentation in prime time on Thursday, Sept. 8.

So his plan is to spend bunches of millions on new jobs – all paid by tax increases. Nifty! And following the speech he goes on a road show to push his plan. He chides the crowds that this bill must be passed NOW. He asks them to call their Representative to demand the bill passage. Only problem….the bill was not in the Reps hands yet.

On Monday, Sept 12 the White House emailed the 155 page plan to Congress.

Four days had passed with Obama saying this must be passed NOW. You would think upon receipt of the email a Democratic representative would file it…I mean…Obama said do it NOW! But no…as of Wednesday, Sept 14, NO ONE IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES had filed the bill, Democrat or Republican.

I’m guessing a bill costing mega millions to be paid entirely with tax increases would be toxic for any representative to file. As others have said, Obama’s “jobs bill” was not meant to be a bill; it was meant to be a campaign document.

He Spies With His Little Eye..and New Website

Obama snitches unite: there is a new website just for you. Attachwatch.com is where liberals are to go to report gossip, smears and attacks they see, hear or imagine about Obama. Here they submit “evidence” of attacks on the President.

This is one of the more ridiculous things I have seen Obama do…since the last time he did this during his last campaign.

This from the guy who wants to put the circus of politics aside. Geeze.

So within the day, a rival website was created…attachwatchwatch.com…where you can go to be watched by the watchers and enjoy the jokes that come with such a circus.

Solyndra….How’d That Happen Mr. President?

An interesting story is unfolding about Solyndra, a clean energy, “green jobs” company touted by Obama. They received a $535 million loan from Obama’s administration at a sweetheart rate of 1.025% quarterly. Then they shut their doors suddenly in August, leaving 1,000 “green jobs” workers out of work. Part of their bankruptcy filing would pay one of Obama’s donors FIRST before the government loan is repair.

So to recap: Obama appears to have taken care of a donor by giving his company government money, which he took, and ran, and will get paid back first before taxpayers do.

Obama Blasts Big Campaign Spending at $35,800 per plate fundraiser

Obama campaign handlers cashed in on Obama’s 50th birthday by holding three fundraisers in Chicago. One was for 100 donors who forked over $35,800 each. At the event, he gave a speech where he railed against spending big money in campaigns – saying big money is going to be flooding the airwaves. Remember his campaign goal is 1 billion. Maybe he won’t spend it all “flooding the airwaves” and use some to pay down our country’s massive debt?

From a town hall meeting today in Maryland…this is what he said about the debt ceiling crisis:

“I’m sympathetic to your view that this would be easier if I could do this entirely on my own. It would mean all these conversations I’ve had over the last three weeks, I could have been spending time with Malia and Sasha instead,” President Obama said at a town hall.

Hey – take all the time you need with your daughters starting in 2013 when you retire…Unlimited golf too. Just please go….

President Liar At It Again

Holy cow I can’t believe he said this TODAY…when the Senate voted 51-46 against passing the Republican Cut, Cap and Balance legislation to avert the government defaulting on debt payments.

Mr. Speech said: “One of the questions the Republican Party is going to have to ask itself is, `Can they say yes to anything?’”

Dude – they did say yes. They passed legislation in the House with a solution to your spending problem. That legislation went to the Senate which Democrats control. Democrats voted against the solution…shoot… not just THE solution….A solution.

Mr. Speech just keeps talking and talking and talking….like his spending and spending and spending.

And, I watched the beginning of ABC News tonight and they didn’t even MENTION the Senate rejecting the House plan. Didn’t even MENTION it.

I hope Americans are getting good, unbiased information out there and make a change in the 2012 elections. We don’t need a President Liar!

He wants to be the new NFL Commissioner or something…

I figure Obama’s next job after the U.S. Presidency will be the Olympics or United Nations…something where he can have a great title doing nothing, especially nothing for America. I mean, already he has demonstrated his interest in doing nothing for America.

But this? Shocker today when discussing raising the debt ceiling. Obama wants a higher credit card limit so he can pay the bills for those crazy stimulus spends..like million dollar stimulus logos and fancy roadside construction projects …those important stimulus projects.

So in trying to apply his mayo spread of guilt around everyone who wants a sandwich…he says this:

We are not out here trying to use this as a means of doing all these really tough political things. I would rather be talking about stuff that everybody welcomes like new programs or the NFL season getting resolved. Unfortunately, this is what’s on our plate. It’s before us right now and we’ve got to deal with it. What you are right about, I think, is that the leaders in the room here, at a certain point, have to step up and do the right thing regardless of the voices in our respective parties that are trying to undermine that effort

Obviously he is more comfortable talking sports. I’m REALLY, REALLY okay if he justs watch ESPN 24-7 and leave the heavy lifting to others in the room….Anyone with a brain knew someone else was going to have to come behind Mr. Obama-spend and clean up this mess. Step up and do the right thing dude: get out of the room.

On Sale: Dinner with Barack

Epic fail: a fundraiser announced on June 16 promised donors-to-be that for a $5 donation, you could be entered into a drawing for dinner with Barack. Clever way to get more email addresses…but evidently…it didn’t work. As of July 5 – the night before the “deadline” to give - the price was cut to $3 for the chance dinner. AND Joe was added to the meal ticket.

They shouldn’t have lowered the price. They should have removed Barack from the chance meal.
